The Nutropx Science Hub
Science should be useful, not decorative.
See what's inside, and why it's there.
Our ingredient dossiers explain the publication, study population, dose, duration, findings, and limitations, and distinguish ingredient evidence from evidence on a finished Nutropx formula.
Built for skeptics, on purpose.
Check the sources
Each dossier links to the underlying publication or identifier where available and explains the evidence in context.
Honest dose context
When studies used higher doses than our products, we say so explicitly, not just in the fine print.
Null findings disclosed
When major trials reported no effect, we cite them too. Selective citation is bad science.
Structure-function language
We focus on intended structure/function support and explain the evidence, dose context, and important limitations.
01 · 5-Brain® ingredients
The six actives in 5-Brain®
What the research examined
Study material, population, dose, duration, endpoint, and reported findings.
What it does not prove
Whether the finished Nutropx formula was tested, whether the study population matches every customer, and whether the same results should be expected.
5-Brain® · 200mg
Bacopa Monnieri
Leaf extract standardized to 20% bacosides. Studied in healthy-adult clinical research. Responses to supplements vary. Some published studies of particular Bacopa extracts evaluated outcomes after eight to twelve weeks, but those studies do not establish a guaranteed timeline for the finished 5-Brain® formula.
5-Brain® · 500mg
Acetyl-L-Carnitine
An amino-acid derivative with two well-characterized roles: supporting mitochondrial energy metabolism and serving as an acetyl-group donor for acetylcholine synthesis.
5-Brain® · 200mg
Ginkgo Biloba
A standardized Ginkgo leaf extract discussed in published human and mechanistic research. The dossier includes positive, null, and mixed findings.
5-Brain® · 50mg
Sharp-PS® Green Phosphatidylserine
Sunflower-derived, soy-free, non-GMO. Phosphatidylserine accounts for 13 to 15% of phospholipids in the human cerebral cortex.
5-Brain® · 150mg
Meriva® Curcumin Phytosome
A phytosome complex of curcumin with phosphatidylcholine. Cuomo et al. (2011) reported higher total curcuminoid absorption versus an unformulated curcuminoid mixture; the dossier covers the study design and its limitations.
5-Brain® · 200mg
Chocamine® Cocoa Extract
Patented standardized cocoa extract delivering theobromine, caffeine (40mg per daily serving), and cocoa polyphenols. The dossier includes the full caffeine disclosure.
02 · Xynaptic Drops™
Liposomal citicoline
250mg per 1ml
Liposomal Citicoline
Cognizin® by Kyowa Hakko Bio: CDP-choline in a liposomal lipid bilayer. The 250 mg amount matches the dose used in McGlade 2012 (attention), and a 500 mg cumulative serving matches the dose used in Nakazaki 2021 (memory). Matching amounts do not establish equivalent outcomes for the finished Nutropx formula, which was not the product tested in that research. The dossier covers study populations and limitations.
Delivery format science
Liposomal Delivery
How liposomal delivery actually works: the lipid bilayer chemistry, the phosphatidylcholine biology connection, and honest framing of what is and is not established for liposomal Cognizin® specifically.

Multi-strain probiotic + prebiotic
52 billion CFU at time of manufacture
9 Probiotic Strains + FOS
Nine probiotic strains spanning Lactobacillus, Streptococcus, and Bifidobacterium species, plus fructooligosaccharide prebiotic fiber. Built around the gut-brain axis with strain-by-strain transparency, including where the limits of probiotic-cognition research currently sit.
